January seems like it just vanished! After last year’s experience with the fires and heat, January in 2021 was a welcome relief, even with Covid restrictions still in place (borders, borders and more border restrictions!).
The cooler weather and rain to finish January has been rather lovely and has made op shopping much more pleasant. We are now well prepared after the three week break at Christmas, and have managed to keep ahead of the donations which has been made easier with the storage containers on the property -we now don’t have to take loads over to Canberra. We are thankful for the efforts of Kris and Laurie helping out with the Green Shed items each Saturday as well!
We met many happy customers and visitors to the Emporium over January and we have been ever so busy! Wonderful donations have been dropped off and it’s been a beaut time with the school holidays and seeing many families, and helping people find what they need or that special treasure.
